Feature — You can now share a playlist from one Share dialog. Each location, role or person has its own access. A location can play the playlist, or also add its own content for a share of the time.
Feature — You can now see what needs your attention on the Playlists page. The list names locations that have no content yet, and location content that waits for your approval.
Feature — You can now open a playlist that another team shares with your location. The page shows what plays around your content. The page also shows how much time your location has.
Fix — Fixed labels in the design editor and the template forms that used British spelling. They now say Color and Center, as the rest of the CMS does.
Fix — Fixed location content that waits for approval. With Check their content before it airs on, a location's changes now go to the playlist owner's Approvals. Before, the content was held back and nobody could ask for approval.
Fix — Fixed the approval request window. It showed an empty Where list for location users. It now says who reviews the request.

Feature — You can now turn off recording of your own CMS sessions in Settings → Your profile → Session recording.
Feature — You can now add a customer that only your team manages, with no customer login. Or you can give the customer a login and choose their role. Admin is the default.
Feature — You can now sign in once as a partner on your own address and work in every customer workspace. Switch between customers from the workspace name in the sidebar.
Feature — You can now manage the people of each customer from the partner console. Add a person, change a role, send a password reset or remove a person.
Feature — You can now choose how emails to your customers are sent as a partner. Go to Email in the partner console and connect your own Resend account. A test email must arrive before the change starts. If the connection stops working, the emails come from the default address and you get a message to reconnect.
Feature — You can now send emails to your customers through your own Microsoft 365 as a partner. Go to Email in the partner console, select Connect Microsoft 365 and sign in with the mailbox to send from. You do not change DNS. If your organization needs an admin to approve the app, the console shows the link for your admin.
Feature — You can now send emails to your customers through your own Google Workspace as a partner. Go to Email in the partner console, select Connect Google Workspace and sign in with the account to send from.
Feature — You can now send emails to your customers through any SMTP server as a partner. Go to Email in the partner console and enter the server, port, user name and password. For Microsoft 365, use Connect Microsoft 365.
Improvement — Settings, Security now shows that your provider always has access to your workspace. Every visit is in your Activity log.
Improvement — Partner console, Email: each sending method now checks its connection with the provider and shows each check. Send a test email and confirm that it arrived before the method switches on. Our sending service is not available for new setups. Until you connect your own email, emails to your customers come from the neutral address.
Improvement — A new workspace now gets a short offer on the Screens page, not setup questions over the whole page. Select **Yes, set it up** to answer the questions. Select **No thanks** to start with a general set of designs.
Improvement — Partner console: emails to your customers show your product name. Replies go to your support email. The Email page shows both.
Improvement — Settings, reports and side pages are easier to read. Proof of Play, Reliability and the Audit log show the first rows and a Show more button. Reliability shows the screens with outages first. Training folds the long course lists. Less used actions are in a More menu. No setting or action was removed.
Improvement — Settings, Workspace, Data residency now shows where your workspace records are stored, not only your media. If the two regions are different, the line names both.
Improvement — Keep the TV on this input is now on by default, and Signage Sticks show the setting. A screen uses the workspace default until you change it.
Improvement — The TV history on the Health tab now shows if each TV reading was checked, seen or not checked.
Fix — Fixed a partner-branded console showing our name. Sign-in, setup, the Help menu and the authenticator app entry show the partner's name.
Fix — Fixed password reset and email confirmation emails for partners with their own domain. The emails now show the partner name and open the partner domain.
Fix — Fixed a partner's customer seeing our name when they signed in on our console. The console now opens their partner's console, signed in. Billing, app previews and the welcome questions show no name of ours.
Fix — Fixed a false "Low storage" warning on screens that use the Web Player in a browser tab. A browser cannot read disk or memory levels, so these screens now show no storage or memory warning.
Fix — Fixed the Get started cards on Screens after the welcome panel. The cards now count all of your starter designs and name the design that your first screen plays.
Fix — Fixed the Show me how steps for a browser tab. A step now tells you to select Create the screen link, and the step card no longer covers that button.
Fix — Fixed false "TV on another input" warnings. If a screen cannot confirm the input, it says so and sends no alert.
Fix — Fixed invites to an email address that has an account in another hosting region. You now see a clear message, and no account is made that the person cannot sign in to.

Feature — You can now pick a built-in role when you add a person. Every workspace has eight: Owner, Admin, Finance, Content Manager, Approver, Local Manager, Installer and Viewer. You can change what each role can do, except Owner, or copy one into a new role.
Feature — You can now make any box in a design open a web app full screen when somebody taps it. The web app has a Close bar and closes on its own when nobody touches the screen. Browser screens have the web app overlay now. Android and Windows players get it in the next player update.
Feature — You can now set up touch in the new Touch row of a screen. Choose when the screen goes back to the playlist. Choose the on-screen keyboard and the Back and Home buttons.
Feature — You can now set a playlist item to play only when somebody taps a button. The item stays out of the normal rotation.
Feature — You can now see in Proof of play how often people tap each button. Brix does not record what a visitor types.
Feature — You can now follow the new guide, Make a touch kiosk.
Fix — Fixed the end date on invoices. A yearly plan from 5 Oct 2026 now shows 4 Oct 2027, the last day of service. Each line now shows the plan, quantity, unit price and amount in separate columns.

Feature — You can now set up your workspace on one welcome page after you sign up. Give your organization, the kind of place and the number of screens. Your own designs show on a screen as you type. The page also shows the region that holds your data. The question "How did you hear about us?" moved from the sign-up form to this page.

Feature — You can now find Brix in Claude's connector directory and connect it in a few clicks. In Claude, open Customize and Connectors. Search for Brix.
Feature — You can now give a connected app or an API key View only access to an area. When you connect Claude or ChatGPT, or create an API key, pick an area. Then pick View only or View and change. View only is the default.
Improvement — The API and MCP page and the AI page in Settings are now one page, AI, API and MCP. The page opens with the steps to connect Claude or ChatGPT, with Connected apps below them. The AI settings, API keys and the MCP config for other clients follow. Old links open the same section on the new page.
Improvement — When you delete a location, the people assigned there now move up to the parent location. They keep the same role. Before, they lost their access. If someone already has that access at the parent, Brix does not add it again. To delete a location, you must be able to give each of those roles at the parent yourself. People never move into another workspace.
Improvement — In Settings, Billing, the plan choice now shows the yearly and monthly prices side by side. Yearly shows the saving. The price changes as soon as you pick a period or change the number of screens. A summary shows the plan, the term and what you pay, with one button to start.
Improvement — On an agreed term, Settings, Billing now shows how many of your screens are in use. The page also shows the rate, the term dates and the date of the next invoice. You can turn auto-renew on or off with one switch. You can add an email address that gets every invoice. The renewal invoice shows in Invoices before we send it.
Improvement — Claude and ChatGPT now see fewer Brix tools. One tool checks the health of a screen. The tool shows why the screen shows its content and the likely cause of a problem. The tool also shows outages and TV history. One tool creates playlists, schedules, locations or celebration entries in bulk. Each action still needs the same permission as before.

Feature — You can now show your menu with the Menu Board app. The app reads a Google Sheet, a CSV or JSON file, or an API. Prices show in your currency. Sold-out items show with a line through, or you can hide them. Each board can show only the categories you choose.
Feature — You can now format Menu Board calories the way the US FDA menu labeling rule describes. Turn on Calorie labeling, US chain (FDA), in the app settings. Calories show as Cal next to each item, rounded, in the same size and color as the name. Ranges such as 350-500 are supported. The two nutrition statements show at the bottom of the board.
Feature — You can now add a note at the bottom of a Menu Board. Use it for a service charge and what it pays for. The note shows in the same size as the menu items.
Feature — You can now connect Claude and ChatGPT to Brix by signing in. Add the Brix MCP address as a custom connector in the app. On the Brix page that opens, pick the workspace, a location and the permissions. You do not need an API key. Connected assistants show in Settings, API and MCP, under Connected apps. You can revoke them there.
Improvement — Only an owner can deactivate, erase or remove an owner now. Also, a person who manages people cannot remove or deactivate someone who has more permissions than they have. In Settings, Organization, the Deactivate and Remove controls show why they are not available.
Improvement — API keys and connected apps cannot delete a workspace now. Only a signed-in person can delete a workspace, and that person must enter their password.
Improvement — The Share dialog now shows only the people in your own workspace. The dialog shows an email address only if you can see the user list. The API now shows AI activity, API keys, synced folders and recalled content only for locations you can access.
Fix — Fixed alert rules showing the full Microsoft Teams workflow URL or webhook address after you save it. The rule now shows only the start and the last characters. Anyone with the full URL can post to your channel. To change it, select Replace, or delete the address and paste the new one.
Fix — Fixed invites made with an API key sending no email. The new person now gets the email to set their password. The email shows your workspace name.

Feature — You can now search for a settings section. Open the search with Command-K or Control-K. Type sso, 2fa or invoices. Brix opens that section and marks it for you.
Feature — You can now turn on two-factor authentication for your partner console account. Go to Security, enter your password and scan the code with an authenticator app. In Team, you can also make two-factor authentication necessary for all your people.
Feature — You can now see files another workspace shared with you at the top of Files.
Improvement — The AI settings, the retention schedule, the data list and the encryption key show by default on Enterprise workspaces. A workspace that already uses one of them keeps it. On other plans, turn on the one you need in Settings, Features.
Fix — Fixed a screen that showed Downloading 88% for good. This happened when the screen had no room left for its files. The screen now shows Cache full. It keeps playing everything, and the files it cannot store play from the internet.
Fix — Fixed a fault that stopped you adding a passkey on some consoles. The passkey sign-in now works on every address you use for Brix.
Fix — Fixed the retention schedule for console recordings Brix already holds. A shorter window now deletes them sooner.

Feature — You can now finish single sign-on setup yourself. The connection shows a checklist. Step one checks your email domains with one DNS record. Step two tests the sign-in, and you stay signed in while it runs.
Feature — You can now give people access at their own location from your identity provider. Set access rules on a single sign-on connection, for example a job title and a store number. The rules run each time a person signs in.
Feature — You can now give each location a Location ID and add regions and their stores from one spreadsheet.
Feature — You can now switch account and go to a location from the search (⌘K). Type an account name, a location name or a Location ID.
Feature — You can now connect your identity provider with SCIM. Okta or Microsoft Entra ID adds, moves and switches off people without a sign-in.
Feature — You can now assign Signage Sticks to locations from a spreadsheet before you install them. Each screen goes to its location when you plug it in.
Fix — Fixed the sign-in policy that needs single sign-on. The policy now waits for a connection that works. If you turn it on early, we hold the policy and start it after the first sign-in through your provider.
Fix — Fixed a way to lock yourself out. Set up an authenticator app or a passkey on your own account first. Then you can turn on two-factor authentication for everyone.
Fix — Fixed access for people who work at one location. People at one location can now add files, playlists and schedules. They also see the playlists that other teams share with them.
Fix — Fixed a sign-in dead end. Your workspace can need two-factor authentication before you set it up. You can now set it up on the sign-in page.

Feature — You can now see your agreed billing term on the Billing page. When we set a custom term for you, the plan card shows it. You see the rate, the number of screens, the cost and the end date.
Feature — You can now pay an invoice from us by card. Open the invoice link we send you. The page shows the invoice, your PO number and a Pay button. You can also print the page or save it as a PDF.
Fix — Fixed a screen preview that showed a stretched picture of a video. This happened on a Fire TV when the video was a different shape from the screen. The preview now shows the video at its real shape. A note says the picture is the video only. The message that asked you to update the player app is gone.
Fix — Fixed a video that showed the warning Brix could not prepare this video for screens. Brix now prepares the video again on its own. The video plays as uploaded until that is done. You do not need to upload it again.

Feature — You can now close the page after a video upload finishes. Brix prepares the video for screens on its own servers. The library shows the progress.
Feature — You can now continue an upload that stopped. Open Upload again and choose the same file. The upload continues from the last part that arrived.
Fix — Fixed a video upload that stayed on Preparing for a long time. This happened when the browser tab was in the background.
Fix — Fixed a YouTube video that showed a sign-in page on the screen. The screen now shows a clear message. The alert tells you what to do.
Fix — Fixed a white or black blink at the end of a video that plays on its own and repeats. The video now repeats with no gap.

Feature — You can now type how long a cast lasts, or pick the time it ends. The quick choices stay: 15 minutes, 1 hour, the rest of today, or until you stop it. A line under the choices tells you when the cast ends.
Fix — Fixed the Support access setting not applying to your reseller. When your workspace asks support to get approval first, your reseller must now get approval too. When your workspace asks to be told, you now get an email when your reseller opens your workspace.
Fix — Fixed a gap where a signed-in session could add a passkey with no password check. The same gap let it turn on two-factor authentication. Brix now asks for your password before it adds a passkey or an authenticator app. If your account has no password, Brix asks you to sign in again.

Feature — You can now see the on-screen apps in a new look. Each app sits on a plain ground. Your brand color is a soft wash in one corner. Your logo is at the top left. A new app opens in the light theme. Open the app's Appearance panel to choose the dark theme, or to add the grid, dots or aurora.
Feature — You can now show one social post at a time. The social feeds show one post at a time by default. Each post fills the screen with its photo, and the next post appears after 15 seconds. Select List in the app settings to show a list of posts instead.
Feature — You can now set the size and position of a box in pixels. In the template editor, select a box and open the Size and position section. Select px to type the exact width, height, left and top in screen pixels. Select % to go back to a share of the screen. The editor remembers your choice.
Improvement — A Brix Template sizes the company name pill and the company name to your company name. A short name gets a snug pill and a long name a wide one.
Improvement — The Brand Kit background options are Brand wash, Plain, Brand color, Aurora, Dots and Grid. Brand wash is the default. The Wash strength slider sets how strong your brand color is.
Fix — Fixed the Weather app and template weather slots asking the weather service too often. Each screen now asks once an hour per location. The screen keeps that hour's forecast through playlist changes. When the service says a site asks too often, the screen waits instead of asking again. A venue with many screens keeps its weather.
Fix — Fixed the confirm-your-email link. The link now confirms your email only when you are signed in to the account it was sent for. If you are not signed in, the page asks you to sign in. Then open the link again.

Feature — You can now connect Google Business without a Google sign-in. Type the business name, pick it from the list, and the Google reviews app shows the rating and recent reviews.
Improvement — The layout editor now fits a tablet and a small laptop window. The canvas keeps its width. The zone settings move under the canvas, and the layout list and the editor take turns on a narrow window.
Improvement — The screen page now says when the player on a screen is older than the content it plays. The page names the player version the screen needs. Until the player updates, the screen shows the content without the parts an old player cannot draw.
Improvement — The Weather app in a small slot draws its icon in the text color, not the second brand color.
Improvement — The Cinema template shows the weather, a line and the time. The date is not in the design.
Fix — Fixed the close button in the Choose a starting layout window. The button sat on top of the 16:9 and 9:16 switch.
Fix — Fixed the Brand Kit logo in the layout editor. The logo drew outside its zone, under the canvas. The logo now fits inside the zone.
Fix — Fixed the Weather app in a small template slot or layout zone. The app showed Brix colors and "Screen location" instead of your Brand Kit and your town.
Fix — Fixed the template preview clock. The canvas now shows the time and the date the way your workspace is set. For example, 24-hour time and the day before the month.
Fix — Fixed a template with a full-screen media slot. The pills, the clock and the ticker drawn on top of the media are visible on the screen again.
Fix — Fixed a rare "Could not load your account" error. The error appeared when the connection dropped in the middle of a reply from Brix. The CMS now says that the connection failed and asks you to try again.
Fix — Fixed the icon for a template in Now playing and content lists. It is the pen, the same as Templates in the sidebar.
Fix — Fixed a template with a logo box in a workspace with no logo. The box now shows your company name instead of an empty space.

Feature — You can now set a picture to show whole inside its box instead of filling the box. The designed templates use this for your logo, so a wide logo is never cropped.

Feature — You can now add the whole table from the field list, not only single cells. Select "every row" to add a list that repeats your design for each item.
Feature — You can now keep a Google Sheets data source private. Select how Brix reads the sheet. Connect your Google account and choose one spreadsheet. Or share the sheet with the Brix address shown on the screen. The "Anyone with the link" option stays. The screen now says that this option lets anyone with the link read the sheet.
Feature — You can now add a Google Sheet from the Connected accounts panel. Paste the sheet link, or select a spreadsheet from a connected Google account. The sheet then shows in your data sources.

Improvement — A screen keeps playing what it has if it cannot reach us or if a wrong backend answers. The screen returns to a pairing code only when Brix proves that you removed it.

Feature — You can now set the country for tax on your invoices. Choose it when you sign up, or add it later in Settings → Billing → Billing address. US and Canadian customers also enter a state or province and a postal code.
Feature — You can now reduce the number of screens on a paid plan yourself. The change takes effect when your plan renews. Until then your plan stays as it is, and Brix refunds nothing and charges nothing. You can cancel the change at any time before the renewal.
Feature — You can now get an email 30 days before a yearly plan renews. The email shows the date, the number of screens and the amount. You also get an email when a card on your account is about to expire. Both emails go to the workspace owners and the billing contact.

Feature — You can now see when a TV is off, or on a different HDMI input. The screen gets an amber warning and an alert. The player is healthy; only the TV is dark.
Feature — You can now reduce the number of screens on your plan while your trial runs. Set the plan to the screens you use. Brix charges nothing until the trial ends.
Improvement — The CMS no longer loads third-party analytics or session recording, so the privacy prompt is gone. Your sign-in cookie is now the only cookie the CMS sets.

Feature — You can now use "Check content" on a layout. Open the layout and select "Check content". Brix draws each part at the size it has on the screen. Brix also names how each part fills its space.
Feature — You can now use "Blur fill" for a video. The screen fills the empty space with a blurred copy of the video.
Improvement — Brix now sends a player update to your screens in stages over two weeks. A screen that is a long way behind gets the update sooner.
Improvement — Brix now refuses content that cannot play. An empty playlist cannot go on a screen. Nor can a schedule with no time blocks and no gap content. A schedule that turns the screens off still goes on.
Improvement — "Why is this playing" now explains a schedule. The panel names the content that plays now. The panel also reports when no time block covers this time. The panel tells you when the schedule turns the screen off on purpose.

Feature — You can now point the YouTube app at a channel instead of one video. Add the channel address and a few words from the video title. Your screen plays the newest video that matches, and picks up each new one on its own.
Feature — You can now set how a file fills the screen on the file itself. Open Media and select the file. Use "How it fills the screen". The setting applies everywhere the file plays.
Feature — You can now override how one playlist item fills the screen. Select the item in the playlist editor. Choose "Same as the file" to remove the override.
Feature — You can now check a layout. Open the playlist and select Check content. Brix draws each part at the size and position it has on the screen.
Feature — You can now change how one playlist item fills the screen from the playlist. Point at the item and select the fill button.
Fix — Fixed the cast window on a narrow browser window. The tabs, the search box and the buttons were cut off, and you had to scroll sideways to reach them.

Feature — You can now show only one part of a web page on a screen. Name the part you want, such as a class timetable, and Brix hides the rest of the page. The menu, the banner and any pop-up do not reach the screen.
Feature — You can now change a screen's Wi-Fi from the screen panel. Open the Player row to find the Wi-Fi section. The section shows the network the screen uses now, with the button to change it.
Feature — You can now add a web page and set how it renders from the API and from AI tools. An agent can crop the page to one part, set its refresh, and re-render it.
Improvement — You can now skip a training step that asks you to make something you already have.
Improvement — A training section that you start yourself now ends when you finish it. Brix then offers the next section or the level above.
Improvement — Videos uploaded at very high quality are now optimized automatically so they play smoothly on every screen. They keep playing as they are until the lighter version is ready.
Improvement — Layouts now show a preview picture. The picture shows each zone with the content it plays.
Improvement — When you claim a screen you paired before, Brix names the screen it used to be. Brix also fills in that name for you.
Fix — Fixed a training step that pointed at a control behind an open window.
Fix — Fixed the low-memory warning so it appears only when low memory affects playback. A screen that plays correctly does not show a warning.
Fix — Fixed the back button in a playlist that you open from another playlist. The back button now goes up one level. Before, it always went to the playlist list.
