Feature — You can now choose what a shared template lets another Space change. The options are nothing, the text, the formatting, the position, or everything.
Feature — You can now set an exception for one layer, so the rest of a shared template stays locked.
Feature — You can now let a person share a template without letting them edit it. An Admin sets this in the roles grid.
Feature — You can now read one line on the screen panel that says why a screen is silent.
Feature — You can now turn on screen capture at the screen itself, with no laptop and no cable. Brix then shows a real preview of the video on the glass.
Feature — You can now share a template with a role or with one person, not only with a location. For example, every manager can get the design.
Feature — You can now read in the share dialog who has the template and what they can change.
Improvement — The template editor now starts with one tool strip, three actions in the top bar, and no timeline.
Improvement — The screen volume now takes precedence over the Workspace volume. Set one screen louder or silent without touching the rest.
Improvement — Brix can now move a screen back to the previous player version after a bad update.
Improvement — Brix no longer lists Samsung Tizen or LG webOS as supported platforms.
Improvement — The layer exceptions list now labels each column and states in words what each layer allows.
Improvement — The share dialog now colors each ability to match its option. An ability that is not picked shows a light shade.
Improvement — Sharing a playlist now works the same way as sharing a template. Choose locations, roles or people, and see who has it now.
Improvement — Shared airtime now splits the real screen time, not the item count. A team that fills its share with long videos gets its set percentage and no more.
Improvement — The playlist editor now has one home for shared airtime. Each share shows its minutes for each hour, and the separate Audience setting is gone.
Fix — Fixed a screen reporting itself as offline while it installed a player update.
Fix — Fixed Brix reporting a screen as blank or frozen when the player cannot capture the video.
Fix — Fixed the screen preview showing a stand-in picture when no live frame was available.
Fix — Fixed the content storage figure sometimes offering more space than the screen has.
Fix — Fixed the volume warning appearing on screens where the hardware follows the Brix volume.
Fix — Fixed the sound message contradicting itself when someone turned the volume down on the screen itself.
Fix — Fixed the animation settings sitting in two places in the template editor.
Fix — Fixed the Template tool showing an empty box instead of the template content.
Fix — Fixed the lock color changing as you moved between layers.
Fix — Fixed the share dialog jumping back to Only me after you chose specific locations, roles or people.
Fix — Fixed the column icons in the layer exceptions list sitting out of line with the rows.
