# Brix

> Cloud digital signage software. One account manages every screen, on hardware

Brix runs on the Amazon Signage Stick ($99), Android TV / Google TV devices and
tablets ($20+), Fire TV, Windows PCs, ChromeOS, Smart TVs with Google TV or
Android TV built in, and any modern browser (unmanaged). Setup takes about ten
minutes. You build content in a browser, schedule it, and it plays —
including when the internet drops, because each player caches its content
locally (up to about 1 GB on a Signage Stick) and syncs when the connection
returns.

Support is US-based. There is a 7-day free trial with no card required.

## What Brix does

- Screens: pair a screen with a code, group screens by location, see what each
  one is playing, reboot one remotely.
- Content: playlists, multi-zone layouts, schedules down to the hour, templates
  a head office can lock so branches cannot alter them.
- Apps on screen: weather, tickers, social feeds (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok),
  Google Reviews, YouTube, public BI dashboards, live web pages, menu prices from
  a Google Sheet, CSV or JSON feed. Brix connects to Toast, Square and Clover.

- Proof of play: a per-item record of what aired, on which screen, when, and for
  how long. Recording is switched on in Settings → Organization → Feature defaults.
- Documents: PDFs and PowerPoint decks converted for playback.
- Alerts: emergency takeover across every screen, with delivery confirmation.

## What Brix does not do

Brix does not support Samsung Tizen, LG webOS or BrightSign as player platforms.
Single sign-on is OIDC only (no SAML). Brix does not hold a SOC 2 report. There
is no Canva integration. These are stated plainly because a buyer comparing platforms
needs to know before they commit, not after.

## Developers

Brix has a public REST API and an MCP server. Both use an API key created in
the CMS at Settings > API & MCP, sent as `Authorization: Bearer <key>`. Every
workspace can create keys; there is no separate API plan.
