Cookie Notice
Last updated: 30 August 2026
This notice covers brixsignage.com and the Brix app at cms.brixsignage.com. It explains what we store in your browser, and what choice you have.
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the service to work. Others measure how people use the site, or support advertising. Some of what we store is not a cookie at all, but local storage. This notice covers both, because the choice you get is the same.
Necessary
These are always on. We set them because the service does not work without them. We do not ask for consent for these.
| What | Why | How long | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|
brix_session | Keeps you signed in to the Brix app. The cookie is HttpOnly, so no script on the page can read it. | 30 days | Brix |
brix_cookie_consent_v1 | Remembers your cookie choice. Brix stores it in local storage, not in a cookie. | Until you clear your browser data | Brix |
| First-visit source | Remembers which page and link first brought you here, so we know which advert worked. Brix stores it in local storage and attaches it if you contact sales. | Until you clear your browser data | Brix |
__cf_bm and similar | Protects the service from automated abuse and routes your request. | Up to 30 minutes | Cloudflare |
Functional
These load only when you ask for the thing that needs them.
| What | Why | Set by |
|---|---|---|
| Cal.com booking window | Opens the demo booking calendar. It loads when you move to or select a Book a Demo link, and it sets its own cookies. | Cal.com |
Analytics and marketing
These write no cookies until you allow them. One choice covers both groups.
| What | Why | How long | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|
Google Analytics (G-S6X25XHS8R) | How many people visit, and which pages they read. | Up to 2 years | |
Google Ads (AW-17611582454) | Which advert led to a sign-up. | Up to 2 years | |
| Microsoft Clarity | How people move through a page, so we can find what confuses them. | Up to 1 year | Microsoft |
| LinkedIn Insight Tag | Which LinkedIn campaign led to a sign-up. | Up to 6 months |
Your choice
When you first visit, a banner asks whether to allow analytics and marketing cookies. Until you choose, none of them are set. One choice covers both groups.
We use Google Consent Mode. Until you allow analytics or marketing cookies, Google sets no cookies. The Google tag still loads and sends Google a small set of signals without cookies. These signals include your IP address, the page you are on, and your browser type. Microsoft Clarity and the LinkedIn Insight Tag do not load at all until you allow them.
To change your choice, select Cookie settings in the footer of any page.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we keep analytics and marketing cookies off and do not show the banner. We treat that signal as an opt-out of the sale and sharing of personal information under United States state privacy laws.
