Sub-processors
Last updated: 30 August 2026
A sub-processor is a company we use that may handle data you put into Brix, or data about how you use it. This page lists every one of them.
Infrastructure
| Company | What it does for us | Data it may hold |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosting, content delivery, application platform, database, and media storage. Cloudflare also provides the fallback machine translation described below. | Everything you upload and everything the service stores |
Billing
| Company | What it does for us | Data it may hold |
|---|---|---|
| Chargebee | Subscriptions and invoicing | Your name, billing email, company, plan and screen count |
| Stripe | Card payments | Your payment details. Card numbers go to Stripe directly. Brix never stores them. |
Running the service
| Company | What it does for us | Data it may hold |
|---|---|---|
| Resend | Sends service email: invitations, alerts and receipts | Recipient name and email, and the content of that email |
| Sentry | Reports software errors to us | Technical diagnostics, which can include the page you were on and your account identifier |
| Anthropic | Machine translation, when you show content in a language other than your workspace default | Text shown on your screens, and text in the app interface, while it is being translated |
Machine translation runs through Anthropic first. If that is unavailable, the same text goes to Cloudflare Workers AI instead. No other company sees it.
Website only
These see visitors to brixsignage.com. They do not see anything inside your account. Except for Cal.com, which loads only when you open the booking window, all of them stay off until a visitor allows them. See the Cookie Notice.
| Company | What it does for us | Data it may hold |
|---|---|---|
| Visitor numbers, and which advert led to a sign-up | Visitor IP address and pages viewed | |
| Microsoft | How visitors move through a page | Visitor IP address and pages viewed |
| Which campaign led to a sign-up | Visitor IP address and pages viewed | |
| Cal.com | Booking a demo call | Your name, email and the time you chose |
