Canvas (their drag-and-drop designer) is genuinely good, the Power BI integration is best-in-class for signage, and the support team runs 24/5 phone, email, and chat. Distributed offices that need reliable internal-comms screens with proper RBAC and audit trails — ScreenCloud is built for them.
SOC 2 and a settled enterprise sales motion mean it slots cleanly into corporate procurement.
Where the pricing math breaks
ScreenCloud publishes Core at $20/screen/month (annual) and Pro at $30. Enterprise is a custom quote and requires 25 screens minimum. The pricing is positioned for mid-market and up — Core alone is 3.3× Brix.
A 10-screen deployment on Core is $2,400/year. Same deployment on Brix is $720/year — a $1,680/year gap, every year. Pro at $30 widens that gap to $2,880/year. The Brix wedge here isn’t about feature parity; it’s about whether you actually need ScreenCloud’s enterprise capability for the price.
When ScreenCloud is the right choice
ScreenCloud is the right call when you’re running corporate internal comms across distributed offices and need: live BI dashboards, proper user/group RBAC, 24/5 phone support, SOC 2 attestation, and a procurement-friendly contract. Mid-market and enterprise companies with a real comms team — ScreenCloud earns the price.

ScreenCloud is built for mid-market and enterprise corporate-comms buyers. You’re paying for procurement workflows, RBAC depth, BI integrations, and a 24/5 phone team — useful if you need them, dead weight if you don’t.
Can I move my ScreenCloud playlists to Brix?
Yes. Send us your media library and screen list; we rebuild your channels and schedules for free, including multi-zone layouts. Most migrations are live in under an hour.
Does Brix support Power BI dashboards like ScreenCloud?
We support them via web URL embed. For most BI use cases that’s enough. ScreenCloud’s native connector is more refined; if you’re running live financial KPI boards across many screens, that’s a legitimate ScreenCloud advantage.
Is the Station P1 better than the Amazon Signage Stick?
Different trade-offs. Station P1 is a more polished managed device. Signage Stick is $99, in stock, and runs the same software experience. Most operators don’t need the Station P1’s incremental polish.
We’re mid-contract on ScreenCloud. Can we still switch?
Yes — many customers run Brix in parallel for the last few months and cut over at renewal. No long-term contract on Brix, so there’s no risk in starting early.
What about SOC 2 / compliance?
Brix has security controls in place; SOC 2 attestation is on the roadmap, not in hand today. If procurement explicitly requires SOC 2, ScreenCloud has that and we don’t — yet.
