The Brix connector for Claude now has 15 tools
Los Angeles, October 31, 2026. Brix, the cloud digital signage platform, has been listed in Claude’s connector directory since September 29, 2026. Today the updated listing went live at claude.ai/directory/connectors/brix. It describes the connector as it now works: 15 tools that act on every kind of item in Brix.
What changed
The first version of the connector had about 50 narrow tools, one for each task. The connector now has 15 general tools. The same six tools find, read, create, change, delete and restore every kind of item: screens, media, playlists, schedules, layouts, designs, apps, data feeds, screen groups, locations, folders and emergency templates. Nine more tools put content on screens, run takeovers, explain and photograph a screen, restart or power it, decide approvals, refresh data and read reports.
For a Brix customer, that means Claude can now:
- delete items of any kind into the 30-day recycle bin, and bring them back;
- take a new screenshot of a screen and show it in the chat;
- show a message or content over the normal content until a set time, then end it;
- approve, reject or withdraw a waiting approval request;
- see who is in the workspace and invite a person with a role that does not manage access or billing.
Nothing changes in how you connect. In Claude, go to Customize > Connectors, find Brix, click Connect and sign in. Claude still uses your own Brix permissions and only the areas you allow, and every change is in your audit log. If you connected Brix before, open Brix in Claude’s connector settings and refresh the tools list to see the new tools. The connector is included on every Brix plan at no extra cost.
