Play Digital Signage costs $8 per screen per month on Essential, $12 on Pro and $16 on Ultimate, billed monthly. Annual billing takes 10% off: $7.20, $10.80 and $14.40. Prices read from Play's pricing page in September 2026.
Did Play raise its prices? We found no dated Play announcement of an increase, so we do not claim one.
What does each plan cost?
| Plan | Monthly | Annual (per screen per month) |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | $8 | $7.20 |
| Pro | $12 | $10.80 |
| Ultimate | $16 | $14.40 |
- Annual figures come from Play's price calculator at four screens.
- The price falls as you add screens. Above 10 screens, Play asks you to request a quote.
- The first screen is free, with no card. Play asks for a review within 30 days.
- The calculator has a non-profit switch.
What does each plan include?
- Essential: the editor, templates, scheduling and the media library, unlimited users with user roles, two-factor sign-in and single sign-on (Okta, Microsoft Azure).
- Pro: everything in Essential, plus slide conditions, TV on/off, screen capture, touch, Power BI, alerts with CAP and emergency support, tags, shuffle, sync, the API, sub-teams, sharing, locked objects, private files and premium apps.
- Ultimate: everything in Pro, plus analytics, audit logs, a dashboard, ad cycle and AudienceAware.
So a quote built on Essential becomes Pro's price once you need the API, alerts, touch or TV on/off. It becomes Ultimate's price once you need analytics or an audit log.
How does it compare with Brix?
Brix is $6 per screen per month billed annually, or $8 billed monthly, on one plan. That plan includes the API, proof of play (off by default), the audit log and content approval.
Per year, both on annual billing:
| Screens | Play Essential | Play Pro | Play Ultimate | Brix |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | $432 | $648 | $864 | $360 |
| 10 | $864 | $1,296 | $1,728 | $720 |
| 25 | $2,160 | $3,240 | $4,320 | $1,800 |
- Play's annual price at four screens is used for every row, so larger fleets may pay Play less.
- Play runs on Samsung Tizen and LG webOS screens. Brix does not: it runs on the Amazon Signage Stick, Fire TV, Android boxes, Google TV and Windows. If your screens are Samsung or LG smart displays with no spare HDMI player, Play is the better fit.
