Brix sends one reboot, one new Wi-Fi network, or one new set of screen hours to every Amazon Signage Stick you select, in a single action. Select the Sticks from the screens list, in one store or across every store in your account, then pick the action. This guide covers reboot, Wi-Fi, screen hours, moving and replacing a Stick, and keeping a large fleet organized.
Rolling out 30 or more screens? Amazon provides the Sticks free for that rollout. Talk to us and Brix arranges it with Amazon. New to the Stick itself? Set up an Amazon Signage Stick first, then come back here once you have more than one of them.
How do I act on many Amazon Signage Sticks at once?
Every screen running on an Amazon Signage Stick shows in the same screens list, whatever store it sits in. Tick the Sticks you want, from one store or several. A bulk action bar appears at the bottom of the screen, with Reboot, Set Wi-Fi, Operating hours, Location & tags, Move to…, and more. Each action sends one request for the whole selection, so a reboot of 40 Sticks is one action, not 40. These bulk actions work the same way for every screen type Brix supports; Manage your screens covers the full set, including the ones not specific to the Stick.
You can select up to 5,000 screens in one action. A corner store with two Sticks and a chain with thousands both select and act in a single step.
The same steps apply whatever action you send:
- Open the screens list.
- Filter it to the Sticks you want: by store, by a saved group, or by a tag.
- Select Select all on page, or tick each Stick by hand.
- Pick the action from the bulk bar.
How do I reboot every Stick in a store, or every Stick everywhere?
Select the Sticks, then select Reboot. Brix queues one reboot command for each Stick in the selection and delivers it the next time that Stick checks in. A Stick that is offline when you send the reboot stays queued; it reboots once it reconnects. A chain that loses power overnight in one region can reboot every Stick there in one action once power is back, instead of waiting for a call about each dark screen.
See Reboot an Amazon Signage Stick remotely for what a single reboot does on the Stick itself.
How do I change the Wi-Fi network on many Sticks in one step?
Select the Sticks, then select Set Wi-Fi, and enter the network name and password once. Brix sends that network to every Stick in the selection. A store that moves to a new router, or a new internet provider, does not need someone at each screen typing a password by hand.
Change the Wi-Fi network on an Amazon Signage Stick remotely covers the single-Stick version of this change, including what the Stick needs before it can receive it.
How do I set the same screen hours for every Stick in a store?
Select the Sticks, then select Operating hours, and choose Standard hours or Always on for the whole selection. A new screen starts on Standard hours, 6:00 am to 11:00 pm; outside that window the Stick turns the screen off over HDMI-CEC. Set every Stick in a 24-hour location to Always on in one action, instead of opening each screen's settings in turn. A chain with both daytime stores and a few 24-hour locations can give the daytime group Standard hours and the 24-hour group Always on, each in its own action.
How do I move a Stick to a different store?
Select the Stick, then select Move to…, and pick the new location. Use this when a store closes and its Sticks move to another store, or when a batch of Sticks is set up at head office and ships out to its real location afterward. Moving a Stick changes where it sits in your location tree. It does not remove any group or tag already on it.
How do I keep many Sticks organized across stores?
Store teams do not think in screen names; they think "the cooler TVs" or "the TV by the counter" — the same screen position, repeated in every store. Brix calls a saved set like that a screen group: a named cohort of screens that one person builds once and filters to again, drawn from any store, not only one location. Filter to a group of Sticks, then send a reboot or a new Wi-Fi network to just that group.
Ticking a set of Sticks by hand and keeping it builds a group too: tick the Sticks, then select New group from selection.
A screen also carries free-text tags, such as "lobby" or "drive-through". Select Location & tags to set tags and a map location on many Sticks in the same action. Tags are lighter than a group: they label a Stick without building a saved list of it.
Which to reach for depends on how often you act on the same set of Sticks:
| Tool | What it is | Use it when |
|---|---|---|
| Location (the tree) | Where a Stick sits; one place per Stick | You organize by store or building |
| Screen group | A saved, named set; a Stick can be in several | You act on the same cohort again and again, across stores |
| Tag | A free-text label on a Stick | You want to describe or filter Sticks without saving a list |
How do I replace a dead Stick without losing the screen's setup?
Open the screen's Settings tab and select Replace device. Enter the new Stick's pairing code, and Brix pairs the new Stick to that same screen: the same name, playlist, schedule, group membership, and history, now running on new hardware. Nothing about the screen's setup needs rebuilding.
Factory reset the old Stick before you reuse it or take it out of service.

FAQ
Is there a limit to how many Sticks I can act on at once?
You can select up to 5,000 screens for one bulk action, so even a large fleet reboot, Wi-Fi change, or re-tag is a single step.
Does a Stick need to be online to receive a reboot or Wi-Fi change?
Yes, to receive the command itself. While a Stick is offline and the command waits, the Stick keeps playing from its own offline cache.
Do I need a separate login for each store?
No. All of a company's screens, in every store, live in one workspace, so one login reaches every location's Sticks.
What happens to a Stick I replaced?
The old Stick stops serving that screen once the new one is paired to it. Factory reset the old Stick before you reuse it elsewhere or send it back.
How much does an Amazon Signage Stick cost for a multi-Stick rollout?
Each Amazon Signage Stick costs $99.99. Brix also sources Sticks in bulk for a rollout, and arranges free Sticks with Amazon for rollouts of 30 screens or more.
Can a group cross different stores?
Yes. A screen group is a flat list, not tied to the location tree, so one group can hold Sticks from any store you manage.
