The two cheapest Appspace alternatives for digital signage alone are OptiSigns (Standard, $9 a screen a month billed annually) and Yodeck (Basic, $8 a screen). Appspace itself publishes no screen price. Its pricing page sizes the Express plan around 25 users and 25 screens together. Most of that spend buys room and desk booking, visitor management and an employee app. A buyer who only wants screens never opens those.
This page compares Appspace to seven platforms, Brix included, on price, what they run on and how much setup a screen needs. No signage-only tool here replaces Appspace's room booking or employee app, and the table below says so for each one.
What does Appspace cost?
Appspace's pricing page lists three tiers and shows no dollar price for any of them:
- Free: 2 users, 1 Device ID (Appspace's own unit for a screen or kiosk).
- Express: 25 users, 25 screens.
- Enterprise: 50 users, 50 or more screens, custom pricing.
- A 60-day free trial, per Appspace's own FAQ.
- Extra storage costs $0.10 per GB a month. Extra bandwidth costs $0.15 per GB a month.
- Room & Desk Booking, Visitor Management and an Employee App are real line items on the pricing table. Appspace builds them in, not as later add-ons.
Appspace prices by user and screen together. A company with 5 screens and 30 staff needs the 25-and-25 Express plan, or a custom quote, even though it only wants the screens. In early 2026, an archived copy of Appspace's pricing page shows the pricing was from $42/month/screen and a minimum of $1000/month.
Why look for an Appspace alternative?
- No posted price. Every tier past Free needs a sales conversation.
- Users and screens are priced together. A signage-only buyer still pays for user seats they will not use.
- Hard to budget before you sign. Extra storage and bandwidth bill by use, on top of a quote-based plan. The total depends on usage you cannot know in advance.
- The platform is bigger than signage. Appspace adds an intranet, an employee app, room booking and visitor management.
- Review sites mix the two jobs. GetApp, Capterra and G2 rank booking tools next to signage tools. Most give no per-screen price or setup comparison.
Appspace alternatives compared

| OptiSigns | $9 / $10 | OptiStick, Windows, Linux, Raspberry Pi, Android, Samsung, LG | Self-serve on the free plan; Enterprise adds dedicated onboarding | A big app library and kiosks |

What does each cost per year?
Annual billing, 10 screens, for the platforms that publish a per-screen price:
| Platform and plan | 10 screens a year |
|---|---|
| ScreenCloud Core | $2,400 |
| TelemetryTV Core | $1,560 |
| OptiSigns Pro Plus | $1,620 |
| Brix | $720 |
| Yodeck Basic | $960 |
Appspace, Poppulo and Korbyt give no public per-screen rate. There is no year-one number to put beside them: each needs a sales call first.
The alternatives, one by one
Brix
- Price: $6 per screen per month billed annually, or $8 billed monthly. One plan. 7-day free trial, no card.
- Best for: stores, restaurants and offices that want signage done well, not a workplace platform.
- Players: Amazon Signage Stick ($99.99), Fire TV, Android boxes, TVs with Google TV built in, Windows.
- Strengths: proof of play, an audit log, custom roles, content approval and emergency takeover, all on one plan. Brix also has OIDC single sign-on (Okta, Entra ID, Google Workspace). A Signage Stick pairs with Brix in a median of 2.6 minutes. The pairing runs from the code on the TV to the screen appearing in Brix. Free migration from Appspace, usually in a day.
- Watch out for: no room or desk booking, no visitor management and no employee app. No SAML, no SOC 2 report. A spec that needs those should keep Appspace, or pair Brix with a dedicated booking tool.
OptiSigns
- Price: Standard $9 annual or $10 monthly. Pro Plus $13.50 annual or $15 monthly. Free for up to 3 screens, with an OptiSigns logo on screen.
- Best for: a large app library (100+ apps) and kiosk builds.
- Players: OptiStick, Windows, Linux, Raspberry Pi, Android, Samsung, LG, BrightSign.
- Strengths: the free plan needs no card and starts from a sign-up form, with no sales call. You manage screens from the web or a mobile app.
- Watch out for: the free plan has no roles or proof of play. Dedicated onboarding and mass provisioning sit on Enterprise, so a large rollout still needs a sales conversation.
Yodeck
- Price: Basic $8, Premium $12, Enterprise $16 per screen per month, the same rate monthly or annually. Free for 1 screen. A 30-day full-feature trial covers up to 5 screens.
- Best for: budget rollouts and Raspberry Pi.
- Players: its own Raspberry Pi player, Amazon Signage Stick, Fire TV, Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, BrightSign and Windows.
- Strengths: the Yodeck Player ships preconfigured, with an SD card, power supply and HDMI cable. The player updates itself once it reaches the network.
- Watch out for: proof of play and the API need Premium or above. Yodeck's own site calls a DIY Raspberry Pi build "the tech-savvy only" option.
ScreenCloud
- Price: Core $20 annual or $24 monthly. Pro $30 annual or $36 monthly.
- Best for: teams that want a large app and integration library on top of signage.
- Players: its own PIXI ($95) and ScreenCloud OS ($199) players, plus Fire TV, Chromecast, Android and Windows.
- Strengths: a 14-day free trial, no card. Sign-up runs through ScreenCloud's own site, with no sales step.
- Watch out for: proof of play and audit logs sit on Pro. Single sign-on needs Enterprise, which is quote-only.
TelemetryTV
- Price: Entry $8 annual or $9 monthly. Core $13 annual or $15 monthly. Elite $16 a screen, annual only, with a 10-screen minimum.
- Best for: data dashboards, custom web apps and synchronized video walls.
- Players: any major platform; the vendor also sells its own hardware.
- Strengths: TelemetryTV says new accounts act with confidence within a few hours. You connect screens to the internet to provision many at once.
- Watch out for: Elite needs 10 screens. The vendor's own pricing page returned a 404 on the date of this review: confirm current tiers before you buy.
Poppulo
- Price: no public price. The pricing page asks for a consultation.
- Best for: a large enterprise already using Poppulo for employee email and an intranet, adding signage to the same account.
- Players: Windows, BrightSign, Android, or hardware you already own.
- Strengths: hardware consulting, preconfigured players and implementation services come with the offer, so IT does not set up screens alone.
- Watch out for: there is no self-serve sign-up. Every step past the trial link goes through a demo or a sales call.
Korbyt
- Price: no public price. The site routes every visitor to a call with an expert or a demo request.
- Best for: enterprises that want signage tied to Microsoft 365 for room and desk booking. The same account also holds an employee app.
- Players: screens that Korbyt sets up for the account. The site lists no option to use your own screen.
- Strengths: Korbyt Booking ties room and desk reservations to Microsoft Exchange and 365. Signage-only alternatives do not offer this.
- Watch out for: no visible pricing and no self-serve trial. Korbyt markets to Fortune 100 and large multi-campus organizations, so a single 5-screen location is likely the wrong fit.
FAQ
Is there a free Appspace alternative?
Yodeck is free for 1 screen, and OptiSigns is free for up to 3 screens with its logo on screen. Appspace's own Free tier covers 2 users and 1 screen; every tier past that needs a sales conversation.
Can any of these replace Appspace's room and desk booking?
Not the signage-only ones. Brix, OptiSigns, Yodeck, ScreenCloud and TelemetryTV cover screens only. Korbyt and Poppulo bundle booking or employee comms with signage, closer to what Appspace sells, but neither publishes a price. A business that needs real room booking alongside signage should budget for two tools, or stay with Appspace.
Which alternative needs the least setup?
Brix, Yodeck, OptiSigns, ScreenCloud and TelemetryTV all let you sign up and start without a sales call. A Signage Stick pairs with Brix in about 10 minutes. Poppulo and Korbyt route every buyer through a demo first, and set up the account from there.
Does Brix support single sign-on like Appspace?
Brix supports OIDC single sign-on with Okta, Microsoft Entra ID and Google Workspace. Brix does not support SAML, and it has no SOC 2 report. Check that against your IT team's requirements before you switch.
How do I move from Appspace to Brix?
Send Brix your Appspace channel list and content. Brix moves your content, playlists and screens over for you, free, usually in a day. See how Brix compares to Appspace in detail for the full switching notes.
