The main affordable alternatives to Spectrio digital signage publish a per-screen price: Brix ($6 per screen per month billed annually, or $8 billed monthly), Yodeck ($8, one screen free), OptiSigns ($9 annual, or $10 monthly) and NoviSign ($14 annual, or $16 monthly). Spectrio publishes no signage prices: you get a quote after a demo.

Stay with Spectrio if you want one vendor for signage, overhead music, on-hold messages, Wi-Fi marketing and scent, with its studio making your content and a technician installing the screens. Brix wrote this page and says where each option, Brix included, is the wrong choice.

What is Spectrio?

Spectrio is a Tampa, Florida company that sells in-store customer engagement: digital signage, kiosks, overhead music, on-hold messaging, Wi-Fi marketing and scent marketing (Spectrio about us, read September 2026).

Its signage software is the Enplug platform, sold in Essential, Professional and Enterprise packages (Enplug help centre). Spectrio Studio makes content for you, and partner technicians survey sites and install.

How much does Spectrio cost?

Spectrio does not publish a price for digital signage. Every product on its pricing page leads to "Get a Demo" (September 2026). Your price is in your quote or contract.

What its own help centre says (read September 2026):

  • Monthly plans are paid by credit card; invoices only for customers who pay a year up front (billing).
  • User roles, content approval, locked templates and Operating Hours (screens on and off on a schedule) need Professional or Enterprise (user roles, content approval).
  • Proof of play needs Professional or Enterprise and is also an add-on (proof of play).
  • Remote reboot is part of the Advanced Monitoring add-on (Advanced Monitoring).
  • SAML single sign-on is for Enterprise (single sign-on).
  • Technical support: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 8:00 pm Eastern (customer success resources).

Why do people look for a Spectrio alternative?

  • No published price. You cannot compare cost without a sales call.
  • Features sit on higher packages and add-ons. Approval, roles, TV schedules and proof of play need Professional or Enterprise; proof of play and remote reboot are add-ons on top.
  • Weekday support only. A restaurant or gym open at weekends has no one to call then.
  • You only need screens. If music and Wi-Fi are sorted, a signage-only platform costs less.

  • Best for: shops, restaurants, clinics, gyms and chains that want a published price.
  • Players: Amazon Signage Stick ($99.99), Fire TV, Android boxes, TVs with Google TV built in, Windows. About 10 minutes per screen to set up.

How to switch from Spectrio

  1. Check the contract. Find the renewal date and notice period, so you do not pay two vendors at once.
  2. Check the players. A Spectrio player may run only Enplug. A TV with Google TV built in, or an Amazon Signage Stick ($99.99), runs Brix.
  3. Download your content. Images and videos move as files; playlists, schedules and layouts are rebuilt.
  4. Run one screen side by side for a week, then move the rest.
